I met these kids on my second day hiking in Batad, one of the five Ifugao rice terraces that included on the Unesco World Heritage list.
In the morning I was wearing my guesthouse family’s slippers to check out my boots. Long story short… I fall down in the mud the day before and my boots ended up on a stove. Overnight they turned into smoked shoes. Tell me what other way to dry my boots in this remote area!
Since our breakfast was in slow progress too, let’s hunt some scenes with camera!
The kids came. Guess they came to see tourists especially the two Scandinavians and one French.
But well, nothing beats a camera.
They were shy at first.
The fun part was how I turned them into some self obsessed monsters! After a few shots they followed me around.
I had to make effort to go back to my smoked shoes.
Have you tried photograph kids?
